What you are doing is encouraging your kids to take an interest in books and reading and leading them in the right direction. Way to go, Louiz! Starting early does make a lot of difference and their language skills will be very strong. Your cutie pie is more playful than his big bro but he will catch on eventually with your guidance. Hey, I love the smell of babies heads too. When my nephew was a baby he was so cute and I couldn't stop sniffing his head. Hah! hah! And oh, I checked out the video. Very catchy and kids like it and like you, I will go cuckoo also. I also go cuckoo when watching Barney the Purple Dinosaur :DPHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11010771600736676432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2492528731428103081.post-20479893730143059612013-12-05T17:54:47.774+08:002013-12-05T17:54:47.774+08:00In the last photo, your baby has long legs. I was the 3rd child born, slow learner and started talking very late. My brother pointed out that once I started talking, I never stopped till now. Every evening, when I come back after work, I have many chores to do. House chores, etc. And by the time I'm done, I would be too tired to bond with the small one. But now, I make sure I spend at least 15 minutes every night with him. Be it singing or talking (alone). I would show him books and read to him from there, even if it's just one page only. She able to master ABC and 1 - 10 before she was 1 yo. She can knows all the phonic sounds then. And she speaks early. Before 3, she able to read some words in the books.

As i did not have time for my 2nd child, he was pretty slow in catching up and doesnt show much interest in reading.

So for my 3rd one I would do the same as i dud to my eldest.

Keep reading, play educational DVD and songs.
