Simple Christmas

Not too late to post about how I spent my Christmas, afterall we have 12 days of Christmas :)

Ok, this was how I spent my simple Christmas. We went to Midvalley for some shopping, and then brunch. We decided to eat at Manhattan Fish Market, since it's located at ground floor and we didn't need to carry the stroller up and down the escalator or waiting for the lift.

Usually I would order their clam chowder but that day, I decided to try their beetroot soup. We had the fried stuffs platter, complete with fish, shrimp, scallops, squid and fries. We also ordered the mac & cheese and cheesy fries for the boys.

Some wefie with the boys.

Weekends? Same boring stuff. Made breakfast for the boys, cereals and raisins.

Also made some steamed condensed milk cakes.

Lunch? Same old thing - yee mein with ABC soup and hotdogs, heh!

Ok, bye!

  2. yeah 12 days of Christmas and I think many people are still in the festive mood until the New Year's Day or some even after the New Year's Day!! furthermore now that the new school-year opens a week later, meaning school holidays extends for another week, so everyone especially students and some parents of the students are continuing to enjoy their holidays!! this year's Christmas probably is 20 days?? muahahaha~~ xD

  7. I love beetroot too! :)

It's great that you had so much fun with the boys! I think it's awesome to spend Christmas with the family, that's what I'm doing now, instead of when younger, we'll go out clubbing, which is a very empty experience in hindsight but I guess our priorities change as we grow older.

Yeah, Christmas lasts 12 days! It's still Christmas after New Year!

I ate a lot of your last photo these few days too, except it's leftover turkey with pasta thrown into a pressure cooker. Haha!

  8. Louiz, your Christmas was not bad lah. At least you went for an outing at Mid-Valley and had a nice brunch at Manhattan Fish Market. So how's the Beetroot Soup? It looks so pinky. Sedap? That goreng-goreng platter looks good. I like deep fried stuff and love dipping with chilli sauce or mayo or sour cream. So did the boys finish their food? Your condensed milk cake looks cute. Only 3 kah? One for you and one each for the boys?

We celebrated my father's birthday at home on Christmas Eve while my mother lay on the bed in the next room. Life is just a journey for everyone and you are always smart in cooking and baking to make the boys happy! Happy New Year to your family.
